Our long history of working directly with clients over 2+ decades has provided us with a front-row-seat as to the challenges for IT, procurement, and finance departments as it relates to anything pertaining to managing carrier cost, services, and equipment.  

Without fail, it is a routine occurrence for carrier contracts to have already been renewed without notice to our client's disappointment at outdated rates or for services no longer needed. These unexpected renewals add cost to the projects and can delay strategic plans from being carried out.  

Not only are Canadian services the most expensive in the G7 countries, but customers are also routinely overpaying for services not in use or plans that are not applied properly. Using the carrier billing portals is cumbersome and portal information changes occur with some frequency causing additional confusion and frustration.  

In addition, IT staff struggle with inventory management due to the dependence on excel spreadsheets as the primary software tool. Excel spreadsheets are historically difficult to manage between team members. The information quickly becomes outdated and inaccurate.  

Overall, managing telecom/IT services is still a manual and time-consuming process. And it is critical that organizations need to stay on top of managing their monthly spending due to the frequency of carrier billing mistakes and their poor customer service tactics.  

It started with an idea that we could do better. 

We honestly thought with the introduction of Cloud Services that life for Telecom and IT professionals would become easier, due to the removal of traditional phone lines, but the opposite has occurred. There are simply more things to keep track of. And, in most cases, the carrier bills do not go away completely because many analogue services are still required.
